(June 15, 2007) - The two following ships, HMS Portland (F79) of the United Kingdom and RFS Admiral Chabanenko (650) of Russia sail in to port at Naval Station Norfolk to participate in FRUKUS, June 15, 2007. FRUKUS, named after the participating countries was created in 2003 to aid talks between France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. The countries will participate in a five-day exercise, June 18-22, at Naval Station Norfolk and in the waters off the Virginia and North Carolina coat, in or to build stronger navy-to-navy relationships.
