Landsat Data Continuity Mission launch. View of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas-V rocket being readied for launch with the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM, Landsat 8) spacecraft onboard. The LDCM mission is a collaboration between NASA and the Geological Survey that will continue the Landsat Program's 40-year data record of monitoring the Earth's landscapes from space.
