Kenneth Furukama, 349th Aerospace Medicine Squadron commander, retires after 28 years of service split between the Air Force Reserve, Army and Army Reserve Dec. 5, 2015, at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The ceremony honored Furukawa’s career accomplishments, which included a deployment to Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom where he received the Army Commendation Medal.
