"My wife's joined the Suffrage Movement (I've suffered ever since!). Anti-suffragette postcard produced by the Holmfirth publishers Bamforth & Co. and posted in 1911. It shows a husband and wife in their sitting room or drawing room. The husband is on his knees in an apron, doing housework. The wife is standing next to him, using one hand to hold her husband's ear, and the other hand to point at him whilst giving him a good talking to.
