The Alhambra apartments were designed by Dunn & Kearns and built in 1913 in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. It was part of the rebuilding of a neighborhood destroyed by the earthquake and fire of 1906. The building is up the street from the similarly styled Alcazar Theatre built in 1917.
