A Corinthian helmet, 7th century A heavy bronze helmet made of two horizontal halves riveted together. The pins (17) can still be recognized on the inside. Tall domed skull, large face cutout. Fragmentary nose-guard. Surrounded by holes for the helmet lining. A hole in the neck-guard. Traces of solder to the left of the crown. Height cm. Weight 1588 g.
