A new emerging style for McDonald's restaurants apparent in the structure that replaced a 2005 Rock N Roll McDonald's near downtown Chicago. The new desgin whcih replaces the traditional Golden Arches features steel and glass, open views and a floating interior garden. Similar designs had already been introducted internationally as well in locations such as Austrailia and Hong Kong. The new desgine also features solar roof panels, and LED lighting.
