At the western side of Sheffield on the high moors are 3 reservoirs at Redmires. A small dam at the head of Rivelin Brook is connected to the upper reservoir by a conduit, increasing the water catchment area. This 2 roomed building sits by the dam and is gradually falling into disrepair.
