Acrylic clock design. This mechanical design was developed in around 2012 by Loughborough University student Lewis Jones, supervised by Professor John Tyrer. Jones went on to produce clock mechanisms that could be made in schools as part of educational projects to encourage the teaching of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects.
