Navagio, or Shipwreck, Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Greece. It is situated near the village of Anafotiria on the island of Zakynthos, or Zante. The shipwreck is that of a smugglers' ship which was wrecked whilst carrying illegal cigarettes in 1983.
