The Destroyer Leader Association consists of former US Navy crewmembers from the USS Norfolk (DL-1), USS Mitscher (DL-2/DDG-35), USS John S. McCain (DL-3/DDG-36), USS Willis A. Lee (DL-4) and the USS Wilkinson (DL-5). The ships were part of the Mitscher-Class of Destroyer Leaders, which were in service from 1953 through 1978.
