An arable farm landscape high in the Lincolnshire Wolds
In the County of Lincolnshire UK the highest land is the Wolds of which eighty pecent is under cultivation as arable or mixed farmland. The landscape line to the horizon from various vantage points is often broken by closely growing groups of Beech trees as in this image,these are protected features of the Wolds and considered as historical landmarks.
