SPLIT, Croatia (Oct. 7, 2014) – Lt. Cmdr. Ethan Rule, executive officer of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19), gives a tour of the ship to members of the Croatian media. Mesa Verde is a part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
