Eroica Montalcino is a non-competitive leisure cycling event, a commemorative historical race that passes along various white roads, non-asphalt roads. Participation in Eroica Montalcino is dedicated to cyclists wearing vintage or historically inspired cycling gear, such as wool jerseys and shorts, riding “Bici Eroiche” or Vintage-Style Bikes. There is a choice of 5 different routes through breathtaking landscapes, the long route passing through Buonconvento, San Quirico d’Orca, Pienza and many other beautiful villages and towns.
