The Wideford Hill chambered cairn is reached after a 20 minute hike down a path. It has three terraces, central chamber and 3 side cells. Great views.

Take a path from the top of Wideford Hill about a mile to reach the cairn, which is built into the hillside. It is thought to originate from 3000 BC. There is a long entrance passage that can be quite muddy, or enter from a hatch on the top of it and descend down a ladder.
