This summer, the De La Warr Pavilion presents its most ambitious commission to date: Hang On A Minute Lads, I've Got A Great by artist Richard Wilson. Based upon the iconic final scene of the film The Italian Job, this feat of engineering will see a full-sized replica coach balance on the DLWP's rooftop. Hang On A Minute Lads, I’ve Got A Great Idea… forms part of the London 2012 Festival, the finale of the Cultural Olympiad. This spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration runs from 21 June until 9 September 2012, bringing together leading artists from across the UK and the world.
