The start of the race is in front of the parliament building. The 6th Athens Half Marathon took place today with a new record of participants, as more than 4000 people competed. The race takes place around the center of Athens every spring. The event also includes races of 1km (for children), 3km and 5km and more than 16000 people participated in these races.
