MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 07, 2014) - From front to back, Cmdr. Robert Alpigini, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55), Command Master Chief Albert Marcucci, and Cmdr. Andrew Fitzpatrick, executive officer of the ship, fire 9mm pistols during a small arms qualification. Stout, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is on a scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operation.
