St Augustine's, London. Church rebuilt by Christopher Wren 1680-84; tower completed 1695 with Nicholas Hawksmoor. Only the tower survived the Blitz. One of the obelisk pinnacles with faces looking out from all four sides, a favourite device of Hawksmoor's. Rebuilt 1960s after the bombing.
