Bui. 124, p. 310 This species, placed at our disposal through the courtesy of theUnited States National Museum, swarmed at Mesilla, N. M., inAugust and was collected by Prof. T. D. A. Cockerell. Male. Length mm. Antennae short, sparsely haired, darkbrown; 8 segments, the fourth flattened basally and apically, witha length three-fourths its diameter, tapering, the other segmentssuccessively shorter, the terminal one fusiform, with a constriction. 23 Antenna of male Microcerata johnsoni, enlarged.
