The variety mostly cultivated. Fruit very large, nearly four inches long and three Pkt., 5c; oz., 25c; New Celestial. Not only a most useful pepper, but one of the most beautiful plants in existence. The plant begins to set its peppers early in the season and continues till frost, branching freely and bearing profusely. The peppers up to the time they are full grown, are of a delicate, creamy yellow color, and when fully grown change to an in- tense, vivid scarlet, making a plant, when loaded with fruit, part of one color and part of another, an object of the most striking beauty and oddity Pkt., 10c.
