The Government of Venezuela grants precautionary measures to political prisoners who were detained at the headquarters of the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (SEBIN). 39 political prisoners were released with precautionary measures by the government of Nicolas Maduro. Still more than 150 people continue behind bars for having participated in protests against the government. Among those released is the former Mayor of San Cristobal, state tachira, Daniel Ceballos; Retired General Angel Vivas and protesters who participated in protests.
