Westminster Council's 'Bin Scan Win' campaign aims to encourage recycling. Over 600 recycling bins within the city have a unique QR code on them which users can scan with their smartphone or tablet. They will then be directed to a website for a daily chance to win a 20 GBP gift voucher from a number of outlets including Amazon, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer or a theatre token.
