A Chalcidian helmet, 5th century A bronze helmet made in one piece with offset calotte and sharp crest ridge. Fixed, lobed cheek pieces, long nasal, big oblong ear cutouts and a short horizontally flanged neck guard. At the crown a rivet pin of a crest fork. Height cm, weight 775 g. Red-brown patina with the bare metal partially visible. Surface on the right side in its original find condition with organic embeddings (reed-netting, textile?).
