Sta-tions A5HJF and AA5WSP were instrumental inthis operation. A relay was established betweenGoose Bay Dispensary and the Clovis Air ForceBase Hospital so that additional informationcould be transmitted. GOLDEN NETWORK Granite City, , QST: The hams in tlxis area did a wonderful job of collectingpledges during the 38-hour telethon for the benefit of Cere-bral Palsy victims. The entire St. Louis, East St. Louis,Granite City, Madison, Venice, Alton area was blanketedby mobile operators who gathered in the gold as it waspledged via land line to several hundred operators at the KeilAuditorium Cerebral Palsy headquarters. About $50,000was pledged and picked up by the mobile hams.
