In 1899-1901 he labored inthe Eastern States mission, first as acounselor in the presidency of that mis-sion, and later as the president, inwhich capacity he performed excellentwork. At the conference held June14th and 15th, 1901, in St. George hewa? chosen and sustained as presidentof St. George Stake, in which positionhe is at present laboring. Bro. Snowhas always been an efflcient worker in. the Y. M. M. I. A. and is a member ofthe general Church board of mutualimprovement tvork. In civil life ElderSnow has held a number of respon-sible positions such as city recorder,•ity councilman, member of the consti-tutional convention, which framed theState constitution, senator in the StateI-gislature, etc. In the discharge ofthe duties of these offices he has shownmuch ability and strength of chaiacter.
