Several sheets of this log arereproduced herewith. The log sheet is cross-ruled for theplotting of the load curves of the station. The sheet is put in anew form of recording instrument designed byemployees of the company, and the load in kilo-watts is recorded by a dot once each minute, asthe log sheet passes through the sheet, therefore, contains a much more ac-curate record of the power station output thanis usually obtained by readings taken by switch-board attendants. The log sheet is printedupon tracing paper, so that after the other dataregarding the performance of the station forthe day are entered with the pen, blue printscan be made and sent to the various officers ofthe road. The log sheets reproduced here are of in-terest, not only for their form, but as showingthe regular daily performa
