The Beaches of the Nice Coast. Cote'Azur tourist guide c1935 old vintage map
The Beaches of the Nice Coast // From Nice to Menton - the Most Beautiful Scenery, the Most Beautiful Monuments. Artist/engraver/cartographer: Comite Regional de Tourisme et de L'Union des Syndicats d'Initiative. Provenance: Comite Regional de Tourisme et de L'Union des Syndicats d'Initiative. Type: Antique folding tourist guide and plan. Fold out tourist map and guide to the Cote d'Azur, including pages on Villefranche-sur-Mer, St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Eze, Cap-d'Ail, la Turbie, Beausoleil. The publication date is uncertain, however the text refers to the use of a "breathing tube" rather than a snorkel which suggests a pre-war publication date. It also refers to the "new" customs building at Menton, which we have been unable to date. Cap Martin is described as "Modern" - it became fashionable in the 1920s and 1930s
