Charge of the First Massachusetts Regiment on a Confederate positions during the Siege of Yorktown in the American Civil War. The Siege of Yorktown was fought from April 5 to May 4, 1862. The battle was inconclusive as the Conferderate forces pulled out of their positions by night, escaping intact to Williamsberg.
