An attila of a major in the Prussian Hussar Regiment von Schill (1st Silesian) no. 4, circa 1900 Privately purchased piece. Field-grey wool cloth with lacing of grey double round cord with black interweaves, shoulder boards for a major (seams loosened), backing missing, with applied regiment's number of metal on field-grey, grained buttons with embossed royal crown. Brown-green lining of shiny silk, light coloured sleeve lining, two interior pockets and one coattail pocket. Slight signs of age, minor old repairs.
