Capillary haemangioma and varicose veins. View of a capillary haemangioma and varicose veins in a patient's leg. Capillary haemangioma is a common variant of haemangioma, a benign (non-cancerous) tumour of the cells that line blood vessels. It is characterised by an increased number of normal and/or abnormal vessels filled with blood.
