Glenveagh Castle is a large Mansion house built within Glenveagh National Park in County Donegal, Ireland by Captain John George Adair. The castle was built between 1870 and 1873 and is surrounded by a garden, as well as over 40,000 acres of mountains, lakes, glens and woods. Henry Plumer McIlhenny of Philadelphia purchased the estate in 1937 and returned it to Ireland in 1981.
