Steam locomotive 'British India Line' No 35018 makes it's main-line passenger carrying debut, seen here at Clapham Viaduct, North Yorkshire, 30th September. The locomotive, originally recovered from the famous Barry scrapyard, has been undergoing restoration at Carnforth, Lancashire. Today, hauling the Lune Rivers Trust excursion, is the first occasion it has hauled a passenger carrying service on the main line and the first time it has been seen in its finished livery.
