The Central also has a church, but witha most pathetic record. Some thirtyyears the company permitted to the Cath-olics the use of a building which burneddown in 1903. Then they obtained per-mission to use an empty house almost ground, about three feet from the rearto the front. Mr. Peter Scljuler has actedall these years as the custodian of thechurch property and under his roof thepriest has always found un-feigned hos-pitality.
