A Windjammer sailboat passes the Bailey Island Bridge, the only granite cribstone bridge in the world, at Orrs Island, Maine. The 1,150-foot bridge crosses Will's Gut and was made using granite slabs as cribstones without mortar or cement. Some 10,000 tons of granite were used in the project.
