St John's Head and the Old Man of Hoy, Orkney Islands, Scotland


At 1,128 feet (335m) St John’s Head is the highest vertical sea cliff in the UK. Rising out of the Atlantic Ocean to a height of 450 feet (137m), The Old Man of Hoy is the UK’s tallest sea stack. The stack was originally an arch with two “legs”.
