GASOLINE - HEATED SOLDERING COPPER. Thecentral chamber is half filled with gasoline ; the asbestos wick drawsthe gasoline toward the needle valve, where the surrounding hot metalvaporizes and discharges the vapor through the small nozzle to be burned.
