At far left is Grant Park, with the bright streak of Michigan Avenue. The main buildings from left to right are: 333 North Michigan; Carbide and Carbon Building; London Guarantee Building (with Mather Tower behind it); Jewelers' Building (35 East Wacker); Chicago Temple (illuminated spire); Wrigley Building (tower with clock in foreground); the LaSalle-Wacker Building (with beacon for planes) and the Merchandise Mart (far right). The road running from lower centre to far right is Wacker Drive, on the south bank of the Chicago River. This photo was taken at 20:00 on 22 November 1932 from the Tribune Tower on Michigan Avenue.
