Poelaert square, Marolles neighborhood, Brussels, Belgium. A couple near the courthouse. At the foot of the Palace of Justice extends the district of Les Marolles, one of the most popular of the city. Although much of its length was expropriated for the construction of the courthouse, the area has retained its spirit and originality. To bridge the gap that separates Les Marolles Palace, you have a glass elevator that will lead you, quickly and with good views, to the next step of this Barrio de Les Marolles it is now a homogeneous network of picturesque streets with identity own. This was one of the first neighborhoods of Brussels in winning on merit the adjective European, I dodo workshops and factories that eventually were settled in the streets they attracted a large number of workers from the most diverse backgrounds. The mixture of cultures, Italian, Polish, Jewish, Portuguese and Spanish, gave the neighborhood a distinctive character.
