The seeds [Plate 56, fig. 61—natural size and enlarged 4 times] are very small, flat and thin, gray with awhite margin, about ^ of an inch long and oblong-wedge-shaped;the basal scar is circular and distinct; the apical scar is a small cushion-like prominence from the middle of the broadly notched apex.
