Dixon, Conference Host 1913.] METHODIST PROTESTANT CHURCH 17 Proceedings First Day—^Wednesday The eighty-eighth session of the North Carolina Confer-ence of the Methodist Protestant Church convened in theNorth Main Street Church, High Point, N. C, Nov. 19th,1913, 10 oclock A. M., Rev. C. A. Cecil in the chair. Aftersinging No. 428 from the Hymnal, the Conference was led inprayer by Rev. G. E. Hunt. All Hail the Power of Jesus*Name was sung, after which President Cecil read the firstchapter of Ephesians. Prayer was then offered by W. Gerringer.
