07/11/10 Today Photo ..The swans patrol their pair of extremely territorial black swans have become a spectacle as they fiercely patrol their are so aggressive that signs have been put up warning people to keep their distance from the fence that surrounds their pond as the swans 'can be aggressive and bite'...For its protection, another fence now separates an older resident goose from the feisty Australian birds who used to bully passers-by approach, both birds swim, heads-bowed, flat-out, towards them making it known they are at the top of the pecking-order in this spokesperson at Keydell Nursery in Horndean, Hampshire, said: "We got them about a year ago - it's been a bit of a mistake really as they are so aggressive towards all the other birds and people who come to the pond to feed them. They'll nip your toes if you get too close. It's a shame because they can put customers off from visiting our pond.
