1902 Gavioli fair organ in travelling rig on display at Stoke Prior Steam Rally. Concert Symphonique, Gavioli, Paris.

Anselme Gavioli pioneered the use of book music, a zig-zag concertina of paper, to power mechanical organs so that the music could play for as long as required. Gavioli & Cie were a Franco–Italian organ builder company that manufactured fairground organs in both Italy and later France. Gavioli was founded in 1806 in Modena, Italy, by Giacomo Gavioli (1786–1875).
