dam reflections and sheep grazing rural pasture land, Wilton NSW Australia
I've driven past this countryside many times on the way to another destination to photograph, and everytime thought I must make an effort to come back. Five years on I'm there and its bitterly cold. I've hopped a fence to get closer to the dam, the sky is magnificient and with the calm conditions the reflection is perfect. Two trees, one dead the other alive tell a rural Australia story, Of good times and Bad, of life and death, growth and decline. The Sun rises but there is no colour, in the distance a dog barks. maybe its seen me, cows bellow. The clouds lighten a bit I make an image, watch a while then pack up.
