MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 08, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Ree, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), removes a Sailor assigned to the Swamp Foxes of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 from an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter during a crash and salvage drill. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
