In honor of the presenceof the Ark, there was a feast of the Lord in Shilohyearly, in one of which the daughters of Shiloh wereseized by a remnant of the Benjamites. The ruins found here consist of fragments ofcolumns, and large stones of various shapes. Animmense oak, evidently of great age, stands amongthe ruins. Just beyond the precincts of Shiloh standsa dilapidatea edifice, called by the natives the moskof Seilun.
