The Hall of Orange, The Hall of Orange built by HRH Amalia, Dowager Princess of Orange etc. (Amsterdam: F. de Witt, ca. 1650). The print shows how a fairly plain grassed forecourt flanked by service wings originally separated the house from the canal from the Hague (not shown on the print), with the area behind the house devoted to formal gardens in the latest taste.
