With aid of a bypass, 100,000 cubic metres of sand excess is transferred each year from the Northern beach of Capbreton to the Southern ones. Such a transfer forces pipes at the "Boucarot" channel mouth to do crossing under. Transfert hydraulique de sable, à Capbreton (Landes - France). Grâce à un by-pass, un excès de mètres cubes de sable est transféré chaque année de la plage Nord de Capbreton aux plages Sud. Un tel transfert oblige à faire passer les canalisations sous l'embouchure du canal "Boucarot".
