A table sundial with a compass, Johann Georg Braun, Augsburg, circa 1730/40 Silver-plated, rectangular brass base plate with three alignment screws. The upper side inscribed with the signature "Joan. Geo. Braun" and the longitude for Vienna "Vien ae 48g 22 m". Attached with screws is a triangular bracket with a mounted pendulum. Richly engraved dial face with inlaid compass. Silver plating rubbed in places.
