It was discovered in Central Africa, where it grows in the crevices of the rocks. The plants grow about 6 inches in height, the flowers measure i}{ inches in diameter and re- semble Violet flowers both in shade and color. The leaves are fleshy and grow in rosette shape, and the flowers are borne above the foliage on slender stalks 3 to 4 inches high.
